The Harlow resident called it ‘A sad day for Harlow’ and broke down during an interview with Heart Essex insisting that he has halted all operational activity at Essex TV on Easter Sunday out of respect for the little girl.

The girl died after the inflatable was swept away by high winds at an Easter fun fair.

The youngster involved, thought to be aged around seven, was taken to hospital but sadly could not overcome her injuries.

It is the second fatal incident at a fun fair in Easter within 18 months

The girl, who is believed to be aged 7 and from Norwich, was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital by ambulance just before 5pm after sustaining serious injuries whilst on a bouncy castle. She sadly died a few hours later.
