Duncan James has opened up about dressing in drag.
The Blue hunk, who is currently starring in Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert, has claimed that while it can be “scary”, women’s clothes give him a confidence boost.
Speaking on Lorraine earlier today, he explained: “When I first put on the make-up, I didn’t know what I would look like or how I would feel.
“But afterwards, I kept it all on and went home. I remember going to the front door and seeing my mum. She was like ‘What do you look like? What’s happened to my son?’
“The way it transforms your appearance is quite scary. But at the same time, you feel like you can do anything when you dress like that. It gives you a confidence boost.”
He added: “Priscilla is about a guy who likes to dress up in women’s clothes. He’s not a drag queen like you get today. These guys are so tiny – they look like women and they’re vey beautiful. But this is just a regular guy who likes to wear dresses because it feel so liberating.
“It’s such a wonderful, heartfelt story, with so many lovely messages.”
