She will be starting 2016 with a bang!
Acclaimed film director Emma Dark whose short film Seize the Night has earned rave reviews and won the Rising Star Award at The Yellow Fever Independent Film Festival has teamed up with arts charity MMBF Trust to provide an opportunity for up and coming horror filmmakers through a competition which will see the introduction of the MMBF Emma Dark Award.
Sue Bryans confirming the competition told us ‘MMBF are excited to be working with such a talented role model as Emma. We hope her competition will empower a whole generation of filmmakers.’

Dark commented on the new initiative saying ‘Filmmaking is an art and in some regards an art form that is less supported than others in the UK, particularly when it comes to genres such as horror.’
