Alex Reid poses as Caitlyn Jenner in satin corset as he asks: “Why not be trans?”

It’s become an iconic moment in time, when Caitlyn Jenner made her debut to the world on the cover of Vanity Fair and now Alex Reid has used it as inspiration as he identifies as “trans” in a new interview.

Gracing the cover of Star magazine, Katie Price’s ex-husband recreated the pose, complete with a champagne corset.

But, while he said that he is “trans”, the cage fighter claimed that he doesn’t think of himself as a “drag queen or a female impersonator”.

Alex, as Roxeanne, told the magazine: “Ever since I was a child I’ve been happy to dress up and play different characters”.

During the interview, Alex switched from Roxeanne – who he described as “quite introverted” to ‘the Reidinator’.

Asked whether he can identify with 66-year-old Caitlyn Jenner and what she’s been through, as she announced her transition earlier this year, he said: “Bruce was mocked because trans people are the last social taboo.
