Eagles of Death Metal drummer Julian Dorio wants to return to Paris to finish their show at the Bataclan club, which was targeted in terror attacks earlier this month.
The group’s touring percussionist has released an emotional statement following the horrific events which saw 89 people killed at the gig on November 13, and insisted he hopes to go back one day.
Writing alongside a picture of him lighting a candle in church, he thanked people for their selfless actions and compassion during the terrifying events.
“I am forever changed but hold fast to the love around us. I’m counting down the days until I get to finish that concert. Peace & love.”
The band’s merchandise seller Nick Alexander was killed in the attacks, and the group has told of the horrifying scenes in their first interview since the events.
He continued: “You all are my heroes. Last but certainly not least, the outreach and support back home is appreciated more than you’ll ever know. I will never forget it.
