Katie Price cancelled her online Stageit chat show after only selling thirteen tickets.
The 37-year-old, who has two million Twitter followers, had been trying to sell 1000 tickets for her live 30 minute question and answer session for the last two weeks.
Her rep however claims it was cancelled “a long time ago” telling Mirror Celebs: “Katie actually cancelled her chat a long time ago as she’s launching her own app in two weeks time and will be doing regular Q&A’s for her fans, who will be able to download the app for free.”
However earlier this week she dropped the price of the ticket from £16 to £9 but still appeared to struggle to shift them and faced a backlash from fans, who were furious she was charging for the event.
The Live From My House event was due to take place today at 12pm and she offered fans the chance to catch up with Katie “on a more personal level.”
Katie posted on Facebook on Sunday: “Want to see me live? Come join me for my online chat Tickets are now only £9!!! Get in quick before they sell out! Xx” The message now appears to have been deleted.
Many of her fans had taken to Facebook to complain that the chat show should have been free.
Darren John Prince wrote on Facebook: “I like u but charging people to talk to you is disgusting !!!!!!!!!!!”
