The EastEnders actor appeared on BBC’s Radio 1 this morning where he spoke about his new book ‘Life Lessons from the East End’.
Asked about his favourite rant in the book the actor said: “Jeremy Kyle. He gets it.”
Talking about his dislike of the ITV chat show host, who is well-known for tackling controversial topics, he continued: “It’s not necessarily him as a man, it’s his show.
“I just can’t stand the geezer…Which is probably a bit strong considering I’ve never met him. [He] makes entertainment out of their despair.”
The 38-year-old told host Nick Grimshaw he would “see what happens” if the pair met in the street”.
He said: “If he swings a right-hander at me we’ll see what happens. I’ll just choke him.”In his new book the actor, who plays Mick Carter on the BBC soap, takes particular offence to the fact Jeremy is a fan of his Beloved West Ham United.
