Victoria Beckham has allegedly snubbed a Parliamentary inquiry’s request to discuss the use of underage and dangerously thin models in the fashion industry.

Caroline Nokes MP, the head of the all-party Parliamentary group on body image, has claimed that an invitation sent to designer Beckham and several top model agencies was ignored.

Beckham, 41, was criticised for using ‘skeleton-like’ catwalk models in her recent show in New York .

“I have written to a number of model agencies including Wilhelmina, Models 1 and Storm and also to Victoria Beckham, whose show at New York fashion week drew such attention to this already concerning problem,” Ms Nokes said.
