The pair previously fell out after he attacked her on Twitter, asking: “How is Cheryl in the music business, let alone a judge…?”
However, it seems she’s willing to put their differences aside after he dramatically apologised to her last night.
“Everybody says and does things in the heat of the moment,” she said on Good Morning Britain earlier today. “The fact that he was man enough to apologise to me on stage, live on air, I respect him for that.
“He and I will talk about everything. I think he is a super talented guy.”
Cheryl is of course heading the Groups category this series and explained she was in the perfect position to be giving them guidance – despite what other acts may have suggested online.
