Oregon college shooting: Ellen DeGeneres, Piers Morgan, Amy Schumer and more react as 10 students are killed

Celebrities have flocked to Twitter to offer their condolences following the horrific shooting at Umpqua Community College in Oregon.

On Thursday morning shockwaves were sent around the world after a gunman opened fire killing ten people and leaving 7 more injured.

Taking to the social media site shortly after news broke, Ellen DeGeneres wrote: “I can’t imagine what the families of UCC are going through. The world is rising up to hold you in the light. I hope you can feel our love.”

Former Desperate Housewives actress Eva shared: “My hearts and prayers for those in Oregon.”

And actress Amy Schumer simply tweeted: “Love to Oregon.”

“What are you going to do, America? Anything? Or does the slaughter just go on and on and on? #guns #oregon.”

Jessica Chastain said: “While US has 5% oft he world’s population, it saw 31% of public mass shootings.”

“Heartbroken to hear of another shooting. So many lives lost. Thoughts and prayers are with the victims and families,” actor and director George Takei wrote.While Piers Morgan laid the blame with American gun laws.”Guns don’t kill people, people kill people. Oh f**k off,” he fumed.
