Cheryl thinks she’s ‘low maintenance’ but admits she can shout during a row.
The X Factor judge, who is married to Frenchman Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, has opened up about their relationship during a cover shoot with British InStyle magazine.
Asked what it’s like being married to her, she said: “I think I’m low maintenance, but maybe I’m deluded.
“I know my environment isn’t easy – my day gets planned out in advance all the time, so I’m like, ‘Oh, actually change that. We can’t meet tonight’.”
Like every married couple, the star and hunk JB do have their occasional rows, but Cheryl tries to keep her cool and doesn’t let things get too heated.
She revealed: “Well, I’m not a sulker; I’ve learnt how to express my feelings in a calm way, even if I do want to shout. And if I shout? You know it’s bad. But I save it for the big things – I never lose it over the toilet seat being left up.”
Cheryl might not want to announce that – JB will start to think he can do as he likes.
Meanwhile, the singer insists she’s going to be “tougher” on The X Factor compared to previous series as the live shows approach.
“I’m like a sponge and I’m too sensitive” she said. “It was making us ill with stress and worry.
“People think, ‘Oh, she’s sitting there in a pretty dress,’ but I get so wrapped up in the arguments that the contestants are having. It affects me.”
