Joe Waller has sensationally quit X Factor.

On Sunday night’s episode of the ITV talent show the 23-year-old primary school teacher from Bordon got four yeses from judges.

While Rita flirted with the singer, Joe impressed many as he sing his own song.

Although he was one of the highlights – read here for EVERYTHING you need to know about Sunday episode – it has been revealed that Joe will not be appearing at Boot Camp.

He posted on one of his social networking sites: “So mid week I received a completely random email from the X Factor Team.

“Although I made the choice to not continue in the programme because I felt it was the best thing for my career at the time, they have decided to air my audition.

“SO I PROMISE I DIDN’T LIE ABOUT ANYTHING… But they have chosen to air my audition even though I chose to leave.”

Before getting into music Joe wanted to be a professional footballer and played for Portsmouth and Reading junior teams.

However after injuring his ankle three times he decided it wasn’t to be. He started singing about 3 years ago and he is now a keen song writer.

On Sunday night’s show Rita is seen flirting with a few male contestants including Joe.
