After JK Rowling’s comeback, the top celebrity Twitter feuds from Katie Hopkins to Zayn Malik and James Blunt

Who’s the biggest b***her of them all?

JK Rowling gained huge support on Twitter this weekend after responding to the refugee crisis on Twitter – before hitting back at her haters in style.

Celebrities commenting on humanitarian issues is always tricky – because a fan can always play the “so says the millionaire” card – but the Harry Potter author was ready with an almighty comeback.

Echoing the mood of the nation, the Harry Potter author tweeted: “If you can’t imagine yourself in one of these boats, you have something missing. They are dying for a life worth living. #refugeeswelcome.

A follower made the sarcastic response: “said the millionaire on her gold iphone in her mansion.”

The author then wrote: “I’d type a longer retort, but these diamond buttons really hurt my fingers.”

Obviously she’s not the only celeb to get involved in a war of words, so in honour of all these fall-outs after the big night, we thought we’d take a look at some of the best – plus the amazing comebacks.

Zayn Malik V Calvin Harris

Zayn took Calvin on – but lost

Calvin Harris and Zayn Malik engaged in a war of words which captured the attention of the music industry in August.

So far, everyone from Zayn’s former One Direction bandmate Louis Tomlinson to Nicki Minaj have had their say on the rivalry – but what’s it all about?

Seemingly out of nowhere, the two stars clashed on Twitter and it got heated very quickly.

It all started as Zayn appeared to hit out at the Scottish DJ’s girlfriend Taylor Swiftwith a retweet comparing her views on the music industry to a contrasting quote from Miley Cyrus.
