Victoria appears to be ignoring the debate

Victoria Beckham has continued to ignore criticism over four-year-old daughter Harper using a dummy, and appears to have dressed up as a minion in a fun Instagram photo.

The fashion designer’s hubby David hit out at critics who he believed were judging his parenting skills, as fans debated whether or not it was right that his child was using a pacifier at her age .

But rather than get involved in the debate, Victoria has taken a very light-hearted approach, and simply ignored it – instead posting a snap appearing to show her dressed up as a minion.

She captioned it: “What can I say? I was inspired x vb #Minions.”

The pictures led to reports suggesting that Harper could develop “speech or dental issues” later in life.

Since then, David has warned people to “think twice” before passing judgement on his or anyone else’s parenting skills, stating that they “have no right” to do so.

The star sparked a lot of debate

In an Instagram post David, who has four children – Brooklyn 16, Romeo, 12, Cruz, 10 and four-year-old Harper – with wife Victoria, wrote: “Why do people feel they have the right to criticize a parent about their own children without having any facts ??

“Everybody who has children knows that when they aren’t feeling well or have a fever you do what comforts them best and most of the time it’s a pacifier so those who criticize think twice about what you say about other people’s children because actually you have no right to criticize me as a parent…(sic)”

David, 40, was pictured with the adorable tot out along with his eldest child – Brooklyn, 16 – as the trio headed out for lunch in West Hollywood this weekend.
