Newly single Zayn Malik shares sexually explicit song about getting high in rambling 2am tweet

Zayn Malik tweeted a song by The Weeknd

Zayn Malik has been partying a lot with his pals since news broke he had DUMPED his gorgeous fiancée Perrie Edwards.

But it seems he has found time to reflect during his trip to Los Angeles as he posted a rambling tweet at about 2am referencing getting high while listening to a song by The Weeknd.

Spelling the name of the star wrong, he wrote on the social media site: “High for this … Weekend tune on a Tuesday ha.” Hmmm, okay then.

He previously broke his social media silence by sharing a snap of a lotus flower picture resting on a piano, thought to be a tattoo design.

The song he’s been listening to, High For This, features drug references in the lyrics: “Open your hand, take a glass/Don’t be scared/ I’m right here/Even though, you don’t roll/Trust me girl, you wanna be high for this.”

Abel Tesfaye, known by his stage name The Weeknd, released a sexually-charged video for the track showing a guy giving a woman a white pill in a hotel room.

The promo shows her caressing another woman while seemingly high on drugs before the guy gets involved and things get rather steamy.

They writhe around on a bed in their underwear and start to undress as the guy runs his hands over both of them.

Zayn, 22, has hinted he wants to make grittier music after leaving One Direction and recently signed a solo deal with RCA.

He’s reportedly been recording with Frank Ocean producer Malay and followed a number of artists on Twitter.

Zayn has been sharing snaps from his time in Los Angeles after his split from Perrie, posting a photo of his ‘zquad’ in which he looked happy and relaxed.

But to make things awkward, Perrie, 22, is also in LA with her Little Mix bandmates as they continued to promote their latest album and she has spoken to E! about the split, insisting she’s “good”.

He’s clearly a fan of the R&B act as he’s also following The Weeknd on Twitter – could a collaboration be on the cards now he’s gone solo?
