Charlotte Crosby has admitted that revealing she caught chlamydia in her new tell all book was “embarrassing”, but she was “prompting people to have safe sex”.
The Geordie Shore star is releasing a new book all about her life, troubled past and of course those times she wet the bed on air – eek.
And while there’s plenty to choose from, Charlotte picked out the moment she revealed she’d caught chlamydia as her red-faced moment.
She told the Daily Star: “The one that I got quite embarrassed about was talking about the time I had chlamydia. The other day, someone was making a big deal out of it, and I was like, it wasn’t actually a big deal, it only happened once and I got checked out and everything. I feel like I’m prompting people to have safe sex.
“But then they were like, ‘Yeah, but do you think you might have got anything off Gary [Beadle]?’ I was like, ‘What? No! Where is this conversation going? At the time I didn’t even know Gary!’ So I got a bit embarrassed about that.”
She did however admit she hed to take parts out after reading it back, realising she’d been a tad TOO honest.
The star recently opened up to Lorraine about wetting the bed on TV, but she’s not about to regret a thing.
One her past mistakes, Charlotte added: “I hope that in 20 years from now, I’ll be sitting in a massive mansion with two massive cars, a load of dogs, a parrot, another exotic animal, and I’ll look back at all the things I’ve done and think, ‘Thank god I did all of that, because I wouldn’t have all of this’.”
The 25-year-old, famous for drunken behaviour on MTV reality show Geordie Shoreand winning Celebrity Big Brother in 2013, appeared on Lorraine’s ITV talk show to promote her new book.
