Sheridan Smith has hinted she’s been left heartbroken after being “hurt by an idiot boy again.”

The BAFTA winning actress, who started dating Hollyoaks star Greg Wood just months after he split from his wife Catherine at the end of last year, posted a series of cryptic tweets but hinted it’s not about her beau. We’re confused.

She wrote on the social media site: “It’s a good job I’m biting my tongue today.

“Just been hurt by an idiot boy again but not gonna lower myself to his standards – love and light.”

The pretty star, 34, also told her fans she “feels like s**** right now” and thanked Greg’s co-star Tamara Wall for being “honest”. We’re intrigued.

Sheridan deleted some of the posts before hitting back at claims her tweets were about the soap star she has been dating, writing: “Who said it was Greg?”

Sheridan then added: “When 2 married people cheat it’s disgusting those poor partners but some people don’t even care … even if kids are involved #dark.”
