James Lock is under investigation from TOWIE bosses after claims he subjected two men to ‘racist abuse’ emerged.
The Only Way is Essex star – who was suspended from the show last year after he admitted being in possession of a Class C drugs – is said to have ‘used racial insults’ towards two men at an Essex pool party.
Lockie – who has starred in the ITVBe show since 2013 – reportedly used the words “black f******” against the men at Pine Grove, an Essex mansion in Chigwell, claims The Sun.
Lock denies the allegations.
The publication adds that the men didn’t complain about the language, but a witness allegedly overheard the comments and alerted TOWIE bosses, who have launched an investigation.
Essex Police confirmed to Mirror Online that there is no record of any complaint being made to them.
A TOWIE production company source the newspaper: “Any issues of this nature are obviously taken very seriously and a thorough investigation is already ongoing.”
A TOWIE spokesman added: “The cast member concerned denies these allegations.”
Mirror Online has contacted reps for TOWIE and James Lock for comment.
Last July, Lock was welcomed back to the reality show after pleading guilty in court to possession of Ketamine . At the time, a source told the Mirror that he was lucky to return.
“Despite James pleading guilty to possession, no drugs were found in his system.
“And the courts even noted James’ good behaviour and the fact that he had no previous convictions, so producers took that into account. He showed great remorse for his actions, which was really important to ITV2.
