The F1 ace took to Instagram with a loved up snap of the pair taken while they were still together, along with a lengthy message for his former girlfriend.
Referring to her as his “friend”, Lewis claimed their time together made him who he is now, and wished her all the best for the future.
He wrote: “Dear friend, Through the years we shared alot, i wouldn’t have changed a thing. All the experiences made me the man i’m proud to be right now.
“The Memories together will never be taken away no matter how old we get and I’m thankful for the time we had.
“I’m wishing you the Happiest of Birthdays, and may God continue to Bless you in all that you do. #waayyyupstayblessed.”
While Lewis appears to have moved on with a series of star-studded parties, Nicole has kept herself a little further from the limelight since their split.
Nicole previously admitted : “I’m devastated that it didn’t work out,” as she opened up briefly about their romance earlier this year.
As she arrived at the Palladium in London to perform in the musical Cats she told the Sun: “It was the hardest decision we had to make, but we made it together.
She added: “I love Lewis and I know he loves me. We wish nothing but happiness and the very best for one another. I’m trying to stay strong in my faith right now.”
The Pussycat Dolls beauty reportedly dumped her F1 ace because he would not commit to marrying her.
