After Katie – who has been live tweeting through I’m A Celebrity since it started on Sunday – wrote that Gemma’s legs were “big enough to support a grown man. Or an oil rig.”

He replied: “@KTHopkins think that’s unnecessary. She is a beautiful person. I was bullied at school for being overweight & these comments destroy ppl.”

His comments were met with a number of positive replies, with fans agreeing that motormouth Katie should give it a rest.

“Go on George, you tell her!” wrote one.

Katie, who is famous for her controversial opinions, has been scrutinised on social media since her tirade against the TOWIE blonde started, however it doesn’t seem like she’ll be stopping any time soon.

During last night’s episode, the columnist continued her attack.

She wrote: “Gemma is going to be so sick her whole stomach is going to fall out. Australia is only so big.”

Before adding: “Trying to work out what Gemma is good at. I think I’ve cracked it. Nom Nom Nom Nom.”
